There are  complementary medicine methods that are more widely used in the U.S. that falls into either of two subgroups: natural products or mind-body activities.

Natural products sometimes marketed as a dietary supplement can include spices, probiotics, vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, chemicals such as glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate (two supplements known to help cure osteoarthritis), and a number of other substances.

Manipulative and Body-Based Methods

Manipulative and body-based approaches in some cases include engaging in workshops or individual sessions with a view to improving the movement patterns.
Many types of body-based and therapeutic approaches used in holistic and alternative medicine concentrate on particular therapies to resolve health problems and can include rofling, refloxology and osteopathy.
